For my event, I will either be covering the “Living on One Dollar” documentary screening going on on September 16th, or going to a QU 301 abroad information session. As stated in my previous post, the concept of this blog is to explore other cultures and the value of going abroad. The “Living on One Dollar” documentary is a documentary film about two filmmakers who documented their experience about living on $1 a day to see how people in extreme poverty lived in Guatemala. This event is being put on by the Albert Schweitzer institute and the School of Communications.
